Congratulations early. This is my first as I have already stated. I have not even shot it yet. Waiting for the scope to come in. It should be here Monday 9-12-2016, can't wait to get it mounted up and try her out. I have never ever shot a AR-15 or anything like it. I have always been a lever man and a revolver pistol kinda guy.

I have the SR 762, SR 556, and the SR .22. My favorite is my AR-556. I know if I shoot it to pieces, I can box it up, send it back to Ruger and they will fix it. Kinda stress free shooting………………..JJ

Which sight did you get? Looking to upgrade my sights if I feel there is the need. I have not fired my 556 yet either, just got it last night!!!!

I bought the Leapers UTG Sights. Front and back. The rear is lower than the factory and lets me use the lens cap on the scope. I have a free float Leapers UTG slim free float hand guard on the way so I needed the front sight also.
