My 10/22

It has a trigger at about 2#
Trigger component s are all polished.
A pinned firing pin
The barrel is a Green Mountain sporter.

Now to answer the obvious. Last time I had it it was wayyy tooo long ago.
With exception of one flyer I guess you could cover the shots with a nickel.
Haven't been able to get out due to family demands.
I will someday and see how I can tighten that all up.

Nice rig. You need to make time and get out more often. I spent the day shooting my 10/22 at 50 yards and had a blast.

Many years ago in 36 (I Thats my waist not the year) There was a sight called Guns&Fun dedicated mostly to the 10/2and one of the sponsors did a trigger job and let you pick the pull weight, pinned the firing pin and machined and polished the bolt. I sent it to him. He is no longer with us I am sure, and the sight is gone. I think Timney has drop in triggers that will get you close. I think.

I've had a 10/22 in the stable for the last 60 years (except for a short period when I had a Mossberg 22WMR). Now have the 30 Carbine model with a peep and an International with a 3x8 scope for the wife!

I'm not sure how many 10-22's I have(one less after the 11/2/22 fire & I really liked that one). Mostly use just the one in the SkyRack of the UTV. Few shots once a month to confirm zero and it's good.

I still own the Ruger 10/22
my father bought for me when I was in the 8th grade.
I never realized it was a duplicate serial number until recently.
Now I own 4 or 5.
I also own a couple of Ruger 44mag Carbines

Everybody should have at least one 10/22 beater.

My 10/22 beater is stainless with a synthetic stock. So it's hard to tell it's a beater.

^^^ mine, too. The one that burned was blued and showing it's scars. All I found of it was the barrel.

Very cool 10/22 build. I have the same GM 20" Sporter SS barrel on a Hogue stock, its a great barrel and awesome to see how versatile.
