i have a stainless 3" gp100 with fixed sights, that i absolutely love. amazingly accurate. on a whim, i measured the throats, and they all measure exactly .360. being old, i seem to recall... well, a lot of things, but, the throats should be about that size, yes? just curious.

.357 spec for throats should be .358 IIRC. You say it is accurate so what is the problem? How did you measure them? Pin gauges or caliper? A caliper will not give accurate measurements on a small inside hole.

I own 5 GP 100`s and they are all super accurate. I have never measured any of them.

i'm just the curious type. i like to know what i have. i would never touch this thing, it is just so amazingly accurate. hard to believe it's a 3" barrel. the fixed sights are dead on. it was made during the hysteria last year, and i did have some trouble with the trigger (the whole thing locked up tighter than a bull's ass in fly time), but i found some debris in the mechanism, and that was that. the trigger is butter!
