@contender
Just watched a cooking show about Mount Olive where they have the annual pickle festival. The chef that was the host entered an eating contest where they gave the contestants a plate with 20 large dill pickles and the record was 13 in the five minute time limit. I can’t imagine sitting down and eating 13 large dills at one time. They also showed quite a few different edibles using a dill pickle, such as fried and a bloody Mary, ice cream, chocolate covered, and fried on a stick. Plus many more I can’t think of right now.I guess you have to be an adventurous consumer to try all of them. Wondered if you had been there, but looked it up and saw it was 4 hours away from Lake Lure.
Just had to get up and go get a kosher dill pickle out of the refrigerator.
