I'm going to be in western North Carolina in the fall and would like to find a place to shoot sporting clays while I'm there. I will be in the Cashiers area and the Asheville area but am having no luck finding any sporting clays ranges that are open to the public.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

Here are the NC shoots listed on score chaser. If you aren’t a NSCA member you can still register to shoot in hunter class.
Good luck on finding a place to bust clays!

If I have the time and you the inclination you could be my guest here at the Greenville, gun club... look them up to figure out when they do the clays.... seems like it is two days a week and from the times I've driven by the skeet ranges on these days there is a crowd there.... trap, skeet and even 5 stand. I often tell folks about how I never had a clue about this skeet killing until I took the safety tour to join back in about 2005.... guy was explaining the skeet range.... I think there are 3 or 4 of these and how they hire high school boys to reload the the pigeon flingers on these days because each of the machines only holds 750 disk. that threw me and to this day I can't really comprehend that much shotgun shooting.... several times a year a tractor trailer shows up fully load with clay pigeons...
