Mr. Bob Wright

I hope things improve for him soon. Everyday that I come to the forum, I look to see if there are any updates. Thank you for providing some information. I just sent a new prayer for him, although I am sure God is looking out for him at this time.

Well, thank you for asking. I am currently taking chemo every other week. I go to the clinic on Monday and sit for about three hours taking that medication, this through a "port" inserted in my upper left chest. Then I am hooked up to a pump, which is slightly larger that a smart phone. I wear this slung over my shoulder, and, yes it sort of looks like a "murse". There is along plastic tube connected to the port in my chest. The tube is maybe 6' or so in length. At night I sleep in my recliner so as not to foul the tube by turning over. The pump sets on a table next to my recliner couch. I wear this from Monday until Wednesday around noon. Some days I feel pretty good, other times not too spunky. I can't drink ice tea noe any cold drink as the medication sensitizes nerve endings and feels like sparks on my lips and tongue.
🙏

Anyone meet him face to face?

His life was an open book to us. He is a dear friend to most of us. Sad we have friends we never even had a cup of coffee with.

Prayers sent for his full recovery,
I met him and his wife Nita. It was 2014 so it’s been a while.

I was driving to Contender’s in NC for the first time.

Both he and his wife were great people. He drove and we went out to dinner at one of the BBQ places. If I remember right, I think he even paid for me.

After dinner we went back to their house and he showed off some guns at the dining room table.
