I whittled out a couple more gun handles last week.
Thought you would like to see them.

Now to load some ammo and go shoot em.

Nice whittling there. I can whittle a really good stick figure, might take a few tries but they turn out really nice.

I can whittle a toothpick... sort of
I've got a ways to go to be able to do anything that would compare to those grips!
Nice work Chuck!

REAL NICE!

How hard it that?

Got any instructions for a beginner with patience?

Corbi , I suppose "how hard" depends on ones skill level. Here is a link that will sure help a beginner with basic skills.

My dad told me to just carve away any wood that did not look like a pistol grip.
A little sanding and some finish and you are done. A whole book of instructions could be written to fill in between those two sentences.
Have fun. Don`t forget to show em off with pictures.

Bkat . Western Big Leaf (curley) Maple from BC Canada.
This Maple is extremely dense and without open pours. It is
a dream to work with and the finish fills very fast, unlike most pieces of walnut. Personally,I like it`s looks too.
