I missed out on getting the Talo engraved SP in stainless. I'd like to get a 3" stainless standard and send it to someone that can match the machine engraving. Can anyone recommend someone up for the job?

Maybe contact "Tyler Gun Works" in Texas. Bobby may have a line on someone who could do this.
Send it to a shop that does quality machine laser engraving on stainless revolvers. For matching the Talo SP101 scroll pattern closely, look at places like Deep River Customs or Accubeam Laser they handle cylinder frame work on Rugers and can replicate factory style machine engraving without hand engraving prices

They show up on gun broker. Not cheap but I think it's cheaper than buying one and having it engraved, and the rarity of the factory original will catch up to the cost eventually.

That's a starting bid. No way I would do this to my father. I'm a caregiver for him (he has mild cognitive decline), and spending money for his care is far more important to me than this gun.
Jeez, did you LOOK at it? The add ALSO says BUY IT NOW for $1,019.00
Lots of dealers do that.

I know, that's one of the reasons I never bother with online sales. Aside from always being outbid.
Luckily living in Florida I don't have to pay attention to those restrictions.
