Does anybody know what to put on them, i think their aluminum and mine are scratched up. maybe some kind of special paint? would appreciate some info.

For a no-bake option, Brownells Aluma-Hyde II is about the best thing around.

thanks, some one on another forum suggested that i get them powder coated, I'm checking now to see if some one around here does that, i live in a small town.

Something I've done in the past is to use wood stove paint on aluminum parts (like the 10/22 reciever and M77 floor plates). Others, in the past, have mentioned using auto engine paint.
