Does anyone know of a place I could pick up a V shaped or an aperture rear, & a Bead front sight for my MkII Slabside Target Model ?? I could probably cobble something together, but would sooner have a set ready made to mount on it !!

It gives part numbers, etc., to minimize the "cobbling" part of the project.
There used to be a page floating around with the same info, but it had pictures. Kind of nice, as it instantly made sense of all the text. I can no longer find the page with the photos.
In any event, that should get you started on the road to some new sights.

The very same V-notch rear blade insert that is used for the Redhawks will fit in the MKII rear sight assy. As for a front bead, I wanted a set like that MANY years ago, (long before any factory type offerings became available) and it was easy to mill off the post on a base, and then dovetail the base & add a rifle gold bead.
