Bore sights laser

Looking for a recommendation for a green laser boresight in .223/5.56
The type that is like a normal cartridge and inserts in the chamber just like a normal round.

I've picked up a few bore lazers in red off Amazon. They've served me quite well with the many different calibers I have. One that I usually grab the most is the LazerLyte that has different screw-on barrel augers where the lazer sticks out the front of barrel and centers to the bore muzzle when tightened down.

Most bore lazers that I do have for the chamber aren't quite centered within the bore, but you spin them to get the best center, however they do work and also come from China.

If you want the cartridge style ones, the SiteLite and Lasercraft green boresighters in .223/5.56 are the most consistent in my experience. They chamber like a normal round and the laser stays centered better than a lot of the cheap Amazon ones. Avoid the very inexpensive ones battery contact issues are super common.

What type of gun in .223/5.56 do you wish to use a bore sighter in?

Are you using it to actually bore sight, or for some other purpose?
