Would like to know what is most accurate in this particular gun. I am also curious as to why it resists simple disassembly. Any information / tips would be greatly appreciated.

Each gun can have different accuracy results with different ammo. That's half the fun of owning one, testing it out! Buy 3-4 different types of easily available ammo & test them. Sooner or later, you'll find what is best in your gun.

As for disassembly, READ THE MANUEL. But here's the warning; re-assembly will be a bit trickier. so,,,, READ THE MANUEL!
There are also several videos on the net to follow as well.
If yours is "tight" it may need a little extra help in coming apart. Do a search here on how to do it.

I use mine for bullseye and use CCI std velocity or Blazer in it. Pretty much anything can be used for casual target shooting and plinking as the small difference in accuracy will go unnoticed by most.

As most always suggest, part of the fun with shooting a rimfire, any rimfire, is finding out what ammo it likes the best.

My scoped KMK678GC seems to like CCI Blazers fine, do about the same with Wolf Match Target and Rem Target, will shoot Win Dynapoints into 3/4" groups at 50 yards (and often better) from a rest, did not like some of the more expensive target ammo like Ely Sport, and is generally around a 50 yard 1-1.25" shooter with just about anything that is standard velocity. On the other hand, I had some older Rem bulk Golden Bullets that had a lot of misfires and FTF/FTE problems, and some newer stuff in the flat style boxes that has had no problems at all through 6 boxes now, and is shooting great in a Ruger MKIII standard pistol with a red dot sight. You never know about 22s!

If your primary purpose is target shooting, then pick the most accurate after testing. If it is for hunting, then you would generally want to maximize velocity and potential downrange performance in addition to accuracy.

I have a 6 7/8" govt target with a 4x weaver and it shoots win 40gr power points about the best. I've never tried match ammo but about everything else. CCI mini mags are good shooters too.
