MIni-14 question Please Close Question answered

I have a Mini-14 189 prefix stamped 223 on the top of the receiver. I have read opinions both ways but will it handle 5.56 safely? Question answered Thanks Ruger Guru

Yes it will. Says so right in the instruction manual.
