I haven't ordered in awhile but would call Ruger first as they had good pricing and low shipping.

Reminds me of when I wanted a browning buckmark mag release. It was a couple bucks but freight was going to be 12! I didn't get it.

It's likely, but in my case I got two because I paid an excessive amount for a couple in the last number of years and I don't expect to be buying more Ruger revolvers needing the hammer. But I said the same thing a couple of years back :-)

Also "if" I found I did not need them in a couple of years time, I could always help someone out.

some folks don't like the waiting game, me, i can wait... plus i don't like paying exorbitant for something that i know doesn't cost that much. i see one now in the classifieds for SBH hammer for over $100 when they sell on Midway's site for $22-$31, and i don't know why Power Custom prices there so damn high, it looks exactly like a Ruger, with another notch cut into it, ( half cock is useless in a NM) . i mean it prolly comes form the same casting tree...
but to each their own, i cant begrudge a person if they'll spend that kinda money for a right now item vs a wait on it item. I'm just cheap :)

I was lucky and scored one of the SBH hammers from MIDWAY, $40.88 was what I paid delivered. $22-31

Power Custom is a lot BETTER quality than RUGER.

RW Gripframes another maker of hammers & triggers, the very BEST quality ~$260 and very well worth it!

Flippers are ruining every hobby right now. But it is collectively our own fault for paying their prices.

It started with ticket scalpers and now it’s everywhere.
