Was thinking about a meprolight front sight for my gp100 and use the stock rear sight. Has anyone tried this? Wondering if there is much difference in the height of the stock sight and the mepro and if there is enough adjustment in the rear.

OK, got them in from Midway, appears someone tried to install them and returned them to Midway..... Had to file on the front site to get it in, from what i have read this is common, rear site went in real easy, but kind seems a little sloppy on the cross pin...Overall i think they will be great, GLOWs in little to no light..

I've run that setup in the past, front sight is a little different height and the dot is huge compared to the rear sight opening. Usuable but kind of coarse.

I'm assuming the mepro front sight is shorter? Think I'll have enough adjustment with rear sight? Thanks

Its the same size, just didnt fit down in the groove, Had to file a bit on front and more on rear of front sight.

Figured since I already paint the front sight this would serve the same purpose and also glow in low light. Don't really want three dot sight on this gun.
