Heck no. I've put them on 2 of my sp101s. Easy install takes all of 20 minutes. Have one sitting right next to me now. Going on my latest SP101 find. as soon as I pick it up from my dealer tomorrow. 2 1/4" in 9MM If you're at all handy, its really not difficult.

Just ordered the meprolight front sight.
I watched the videos on how to install & it looks really simple.
But I did call a local gunsmith & he said for $20 he'd install it.
Your call as to who does the install. I, personally would save the $20 and do it. It is that easy. Just take your time and follow the video instructions.
