Some may like them, but the BSA is the biggest piece of junk there is.

I bought the BSA an I have shot hundreds of rounds through the pistol and have had no problems with the 'red dot' in any way. What is the reason for the negativity towards them? Remember some of us cannot afford a BMW we have to drive a Yugo.

You stated that the BSA was junk but you never came back to explain WHY you say that. I honestly would like an answer, if you have one, other than 'personal preference'.

Not sure about his reason, but I had one and just thought it was too heavy and bulky. I'd use a Burris Fast Fire, if I could afford one that is. As it stands I have an old ultra dot I just switch around from time to time.

Interesting thread.

I have two BSA Red Dots. One is on my Ruger Mark II 6-5/8 bull barrel Gov't Target pistol. The other is on my Kimber full size 1911. Both pistols are used for bullseye shooting. For $35.00 a piece, both Red Dot sights are performing very well. I have no complaints about either of them.

YMMV
