Match Champion Sights

I've got the hots for a MC and my favorite dealer has both the fixed Novak and the adj. sight models. I am torn as which one i should get. Just wanted to hear ya'lls opinions on the subject. It would be another range gun and just because i love Rugers. One concern i have is would the adj. sight sell easier if i ever wanted to let it go? Do any of you folks believe adj. sights are overrated on a handgun? Also, has anyone that owns a fixed sight MC looked into getting an aftermarket adj. sight to put on their gun? Thanks, James.

In general,,, the adjustable sighted guns are a bit more desirable to most. Why? Because in competition, and in general, many folks reload or use different ammo & as such,,, want to be able to adjust the gun to hit where it's aimed. Fixed sights are fine for self defense & in close & causal shooting,,, bit serious folks prefer the adjustable ones.

Beings every Ruger I have or had in the past have all been adjustable sight models I would be tempted to get the fixed sight version.
I would then tailor a load to that particular gun.

Yeah, that would be a good reason to get a fixed sight model. Plus, they do look good. Thanks for the input.

This was a tough decision for me, but I went with the adjustable sights. I do like the convenience of being able to adjust (especially elevation) for different ammo. I do think the adjustable rear and fiber optic front provides a good, fast sight picture too. I don't compete with a revolver yet but hope to when I get more practice in, so I'm happy with my choice.

I see absolutely no benefit to fixed sights on this (or most other) guns. Why have to customize a load that happens to match the gun when you can make the gun work with any safe load?

Yeah, that's a valid point 22/45. I guess since they named it Match Champion, most people believe it should have adj. sights regardless. It probably won't improve my shooting much, but i am leaning toward the adj. model.

The adjustable sights probably don't do much for my shooting at my normal plinking distances, but the adjustability comes in handy when I shoot 25 yards or so. That's been my experience at least.
