Guys ( & girls ). i recently came into possession of a very nice 3' fixed sight GP 100. It is an excellent piece. The only thing missing is a front night sight with tritium/night sights. Where can I go to find such an animal?
While I may not NEED a night sight, I WANT a night sight for my revolver. I await your intelligent responses.

Normally, Reddit is about the LAST place I’d look for authoritative firearms advice.

That said, here are two options that you might want to follow up on, to see if they’ll work for you:

The fixed sight models have a pinned sight compared to the adjustable models with dove tail type interchangeable front sights.

I don't recall anyone making a night sight for the fixed sight GP100.....but hey there is a thing called Google that could help.

I have a fixed sight Taurus 856 with similar FS and I put on a XS night sight.

You’ll probably have to modify something. Bing all the usual gun parts places and people. Member here known as 2dogs may know a source or, Bobby Tyler or Gemini Customs ……. Theres others I’m sure

It's not a bad idea....I really like the XS on my 856......shouldn't be that tough to custom fit an existing sight from another revolver make...all sorts of stuff has been done....a dab of tig might do it ;)

20+ years ago Gemini made one for the early SPs. You had minor fitting to do including drilling the hole for the roll pin. But I think that was a fiber optic tube ….. don’t remember now. If it was me I’d call Gemini and ask.

Figure out which front sight you have first. If it's pinned, order a Tooltech and be done. If it's integral, call a reputable revolver smith and ask about cutting a dovetail for a Novak sight. Then you can run a tritium front from Trijicon or Novak.
