Long time reader, first time poster.
I finally got to take my new Mark III Target 5.5" bull barrel to the range today. Good news and bad news...
First, it shot great right out of the box. Had great groupings for an amateur shooter (less than 2" at 7 yards) and never had to adjust the sights. Shot 100 rounds of CCI Mini Mags and not a single ammo failure.
Now the bad. I have 4 mags and on every one, after the 8th shot the trigger would stick. At first I would pull the slide back to eject the 2 remaining in the mag and the trigger would pop out.
I tried with 9 in a mag and the trigger stuck after 7 rounds. I was able to pull the trigger out and then I could fire the last 2. The trigger didn't not stick on the next mag but then did on the one after that. Each time from them I would pull the trigger out to finish the last 2 rounds.
Has anyone experienced this? Is it just needing a good cleaning? (something I have been a little concerned about after reading all the issues others have had in reassembling the gun)
Thanks.
