I've been gifted a MK III 22/45 that was taken apart and missing springs.

I've been able to find the springs to put the bolt back and firing pin back together but look for trigger springs.

Does anyone know of a good source to get the wire spring and coil spring for the trigger from?

Thanks

I have a MKIII 22/45 I bought new (one of two guns bought new) and I swapped all the springs, the hammer, hammer bushings, trigger, and other small parts with Volquartsen kit parts and it made a huge difference in the (now adjustable) trigger. I used the MKII kit to delete the magazine safety. It costs more ($100 at the time) but I have it set at 1 pound 12 ounces and it's a dream.

Note- even though the VQ kit comes with a trigger spring, I recommend you stick with a Ruger spring. The VQ spring is a smaller gage wire and it doesn't hold up very well.

After installing the VQ trigger and spring, my pistol started having failures to reset after 8 or 9 months. I put the original Ruger spring back in and have had no reset problems after 5+ years.

Mine is set at less than 2 lbs and has no issues with reset. Note to buy MKII kit so you can eliminate the magazine safety. The hammer and one hammer bushing is different MKII to MKIII.
