I just inherit this Mark II from cousin, missing Magazine, with Tasco ProPoint Red Dot and strange set for to mount it.
Can anyone tell me what model this might be, the bracket blocks all information.
What do you think it's worth?
Thanks

Looks like a MKII target, though the barrel seems a bit short, may just be the perspective of the photo. My WAG for a price is $350 without the scope.

appears to be a KMKII512,or some such model numbers for a Mark II that is a stainless bull barrel that is 5 1/2 inches long, and as it sits around here it is in the $400 range, some folks prefer the MK II and may pay a bit more, is that a "see thru" mount? can you see the original sights ? it should have come with 2 magazines as well, so if you have the original box ( case) depending on the serial number under the mount if its an early gun would have come in a yellow/black box and have just 1 magazine, the later ones came in a grey plastic case and had two mags....NICE gun and a very good shooter

Nice little gun, shoot it and enjoy it. Those aren't the original grips, so they might be worth something extra, or not?

Be priced around $400 here. Stainless mkII's are all desirable guns, in my mind.

That is a B square clamp on mount and those mounts burnish the surface of the receiver. The Ruger is a KMKII 512. The marred finish will hurt the value of the gun a little. The used Tasco propoint will add little to value of the gun, maybe 25-35 at the most. The Altemont grips are nice and not cheap but seldom add much to the sale price of the gun. To a knowledgeable buyer the gun would be work 350-375 to an uninformed buyer the gun may go for 400-450.

Do NOT worry as to the mount burnishing or marring the guns finish, it is stainless, relatively soft and will polish out quite nicely, and and ALL marks, mars can be taken off ( out) simply with a 3M Scotchbrite pad.......take me about 5 minutes to do the receiver tube 8)

Barrel looks too short to be a T512 (5 1/2" length); looks more like 4" Here is a link to photos of Ruger pistols that include ones with a 4" bull barrel. The only name reference seen is Ruger MKII Target. Compare what you have to the photos.

My first thought was 5 1/2" model

SS is ALWAYS nice and RugerGuy knows how to polish them PERFECTLY
(First hand knowledge of his work)
