Mark II and III Grips, Interchangeable?

I found a beautiful pair of Mark III grips online and was told by the seller that they may be interchangeable with my Mark II. Are they?

They will generally fit, but may not fit well without a little modification. Mk. III has the push-button magazine release and grips will be cut for that. Cannot remember any other grip frame modifications between Mk. II and III.

MKIII to MKII , MKII to MKIII .

on the MK III just dremel ( file?) a small cut in the one ( left) panel for the magazine release button and you will be good to go.......
