Magazines for SR9C

Recently purchased a SR9C that came with both a 17 rd and a 10 rd magazine. I can't find extra mags that I won't have to mortgage the farm to purchase, so my question is this: Will the SR9 mag fit, load, and cycle without incident in the SR9C?

Yes. But it's more comfortable if you use it with the slip-on grip extenders.

That 17 rd mag that came with your sr9c is a full size sr9 mag.

You can just swap out that adapter between mags I guess. It's not totally necessary to have it. It feels better with it, but nothing too bad without the adapter.

Since I carry and shoot both the SR9 and SR9c, I've completely removed the grip adapters from my 17 round magazines so as to not cause confusion. No problems from doing so, I don't even notice the odd grip unless I really think about it. An added side benefit is the lack of blood blisters from pinching my strong hand between the grip adapter and frame while speed reloading my SR9c.
