I have the toughest time pricing long guns, so need some help in pricing some M77's for a friend for insurance purposes.

All guns are near new if not new, but I believe they are all without boxes.

77R .250 Savage 71-046xx (now the earliest known round bolt gun).
77R .358 71-302xx
77R 7mm 26" bbl 75-235xx
77R .270 79-996xx
77R 7x57 770-379xx
77R .284 772-18916 (now the highest known .284)

I looked for the .284, .358 and .250 on gunbroker but didn't see anything in new or past auctions, and ran out of time to look up the common ones.

Hi Chet just my opinion in order

250 $8-900
358 $850-1000
7 mag $5-650
270 $450-550
7x57 $450-550
284 $800-1100
The 250 maybe a little higher with the gotta have it thing

Chad,

I think GRAMPS' numbers are good for around here. I think he may have priced the 7 Mag a little high; I would have estimated it as a common configuration $450-550 range.

I agree with this except on two guns I think the 7x57 would bring a little more (especially in my area) and the 7 mag would be down around the same as the 270. This is just from what I see around here. I have noticed that all the rifles via M77 or MK II have gone up about $100 or so.
