Ole JPGLSG (whos has been unable to get back on here abouts) is comng throughthe area tomorrow and we are scheduled to have lunch together. Seems he's heard of a place called Slingshot Charlie's near here and wants to try it. Catfish and turnip greens sort of stuff.

He's from 'way down in Georgia and headed about as far north as one can get and still be in the United States.

Looking forward to this!

If he's staying on the east coast more or less he'll be in my neck of the woods eventually. Madawaska Me is a North as you can get! On that map you can scroll south and locate Katahdin Milo is a bit south of that! Hope he makes his move soon snow

Yep. Just saw a map recently where Alaska is both the northernmost and easternmost state.

Yep. Just saw a map recently where Alaska is both the northernmost and easternmost state

It is both the westernmost and easternmost state: Part of Alaska crosses the International Date Line, making it in the Eastern Hemisphere, hence it is further east than any other state.
