 Holy Cow I just 8# of Unique. Now I gotta load my 44 mag and Shoot! I finally got my chrono set up and running. I'm gonna try 10 grs of Unique and a 240 LSWC (Falcon) bullet. I'll be shootin my SBH bisley with the 3.75 inch barrel. I would post pics but can't seem to make it work. Next project will be working on a lead bullet load. More later.

Sounds great! Keep us informed as you load and shoot. I have a SBH Hunter in .44 Mag. but don't know when I will start loading for it...right now doing .45 Colt and next up will be .45 ACP.
I have a small stash of Unique and Red Dot.

Was that eight one pound containers, or one eight pound container? It's been a while since I've seen an eight pound container of handgun powder for sale.

I sure hope that they come back soon!

It was ONE 8 pound jug! I couldn't believe it, out came the vinyl. I have 8 lbs of WC820 that works good in 357, 44 mag, 45 LC. I'd like to find some 231, maybe I'll get lucky. Haven't seen any for 2 years. I'm going to try 18.6 grs of WC820 for 158 gr LSWC for 41 mag.

The powder is starting to show up in good supply finally here in NW Ohio.

Still lines at my powder store in the LA area. He puts on the web what he got in and the next day up to 70 people are in line when he opens.

Hi,

Remember when this is how we bought Unique and some of the others?

Just for scale, imagine buying five gallons of powder!

Price on the lid of that keg was $65.50 for 15 lbs--probably early '70s? Seems they'd dropped the shipping container max weight to 12 lbs by 1980 or so, and later to 8 lbs max.
