there's just way too much BS on Facebook = check out the taillights at the 27 sec. mark. Oh ya, do you really think it'd travel straight line for almost 30 seconds . . . . . such crap
I’ve met Farmtruck and Azn and they’re a hoot! I’m building a 1976 gmc truck and Farmtruck has been a big help. That is a trailer that was made into a race car by Farmtruck and Azn. They call it the “Airscream”
They Pranked people with it, making them think that it was a loose trailer. Actually, he was driving it from the inside of the trailer using cameras to watch where he was going. He put the thing on the drag strip and did pretty decent, but I can’t remember the exact time he did. Those two come from the TV series Street Outlaws. They also built a pontoon boat with a replica of his trademark Chevy farm truck to make it look like a truck was running across the water. They do some pretty cool and unusual stuff.

Saw that clip coupla months ago. They rigged that.
Bingo! I had no idea about the backstory but it was quite obvious there was a vehicle frame underneath. Some of these responses areThat is a trailer that was made into a race car by Farmtruck and Azn. They call it the “Airscream”

supposed to....... I've seen a good number of trailers with no chains at all..... the same people who spend the first half of fishing season backing their trailers down the ramp...If you are towing something and aren't properly using crossed chains then you deserve to loose a trailer..
I have been lectured in most vile, vulgar, and volume'ous manner by others who tell me i will kill somebidy by crossing my chains. I have also been similarly lectured by yet others that the earth is flat, we never got to the moon, and theres nothing wrong with trump's 34 felony convictions.supposed to....... Some people gotta make you into a fool, if only in their mind.I was taught that crossing your safety chains is the ONLY way. What is the possible downside? Rhetorical ???
The next time you get lectured about anything and they say "someone's gonna die", just.smile and calmly say "yeah, but as long as its not me, I dont care."I have been lectured in most vile, vulgar, and volume'ous manner by others who tell me i will kill somebidy by crossing my chains. I see so many inadequate drivers towing inadequate trailers with inadequate towvehicles, rigging, and intellect. Experience, even. the tops of them tars shunt be a-pointed inwards, they shunt point-in even ferther when it hits a bump, the hitchrig not sposta hit the road ANY bump ya hit, ya towrig needs more steertire weight than many have...Also, make sure the chains aren't too long. If they are, and it comes off the hitch the tongue will just dig into the pavement. Seems Most people think they are just to prevent the trailer from getting away from the tow vehicle.
But from what I've seen most folks towing trailers shouldn't be. They lack both knowledge and skill.
My el cheapo cdl course, i got up against two cones backing-in. Some would flat kill that many every time they ran the course.I never towed anything before I went into the service. But thanks to Tech Sgt Hardy I learned to drive pretty much anything. I learned to back a tractor trailer in one of these. And not in a straight line. Sgt Hardy had a course of cones set up you had to drive through. And when you thought you were getting good, he made you back through it. No spotter, just mirrors.
