Baldwin's movie 'Rust' trailer

The whole thing was a mess. Giving orders for the half-trained, un-certified kid...er..."armorer"...orders to leave the guns out on the cart and go off and do other production jobs ("rolling cowboy cigarettes" was one early story) while a half-written scene not requiring the presence of the gun, let alone a previously unmentioned crossdraw, results in death. The smartest one in the show, aleck, had been already accused of previously plinking with live ammo with the same gun, and after the shooting was found with live ammo in pockets and ammo loops. The gal the hapless halftrained kid was working for, and the ammo supplier, both admitted to what amounts to tampering and/or disposal of evidence, but werent charged. The kid was effectively set up, compounded by her own personal errors. The amatureish handling of the whole affair by local yokels was repeatedly criticised. As for the trials, the evidence which freed aleck should have applied to free harried two-jobs hannah.
The verdict will never satisfy everybody, and the loopholes and plot complications will forever be fodder for speculation.
You analysis follows my own. Hannah took the fall for everyone. She was in over her head and Alec's criminal negligence to run a movie safely actually results in him personally killing someone but he walks? Guess he just wasn't any guiltier than OJ.

the only difference between actors and politicians is that actors get rich play killing and politicians get rich real killing. poor alex as he cries for more gun control and less gun violence. will be forever remembered for his stellar dr. suess character. it is a pity to gain the world and lose your soul.

He probably offered up an altered version of a song for the soundtrack: "I shot a gal on film set, just to watch her die.". His supporters probably then exclaimed the single would be a killer hit, number one with a bullet and all that.

Larry8 had it right early in this thread... Wouldn't it be awesome if ALL proceeds from this film went directly to the VICTIM's family.
We all know that the ultimate responsibility lands on the person handling the gun. Period!
If Basic gun handling rules had been observed this could never have occurred. The excuse book will never have enough pages to make this OK.
IF the victim's family was to receive the funds I would pay for the entire family to see the film... Twice! As it is, NEVER in a million years would I contribute to Baldwin's earnings.
Just my $0.02

Hey, if somebody could...leverage... aleck into putting up as much of his as the movie brings in for her, i could seriously consider such a possibility.
Even if hollywood decides that makes him an extra special good guy, those who know better know better. this, he would play for all its worth.

The family just needs to sue Alex and get paid by him. Other than that the movie needs to be a flop from day one so Alex doesn't make any money off his murderous plot!

Curious as to how many Teslas you've keyed lately.
Just why in the world would I key a Tesla? Maybe because I'm a poor sport and hate people just because they can afford a Tesla and I can't. Sorry, I'm not that stupid. That's my opinion of all those that would key a Tesla. Would you key a Tesla if your son or daughter was walking along beside you? I'm thinking you probably would.

No not me, but then again I'm not a poor sport nor filled with hatred.

Anyway my curiosity stems from your attitude towards the more conservative crowd. Was wondering if it stemmed from far left leaning ideology. Keying Teslas is a lithmus test as to just how far off of plump one has traveled from a reasonable mentality is all.
