I just noticed on the Lipsey Bisley I picked up last week the disclaimer epistle is on the bottom of the barrel which is certianly a move in the right direction. However, on the standard (XR-3) Lipsey I got last year there is no disclaimer anywhere on its barrel (even better).

Anyone know what the story is?

Thanks

Yes, it's been moved.

I'm confused. The one without any barrel markings is first model Lipsey offered in 2009. So, where would the markings be located on it?

I think a few of them got out without the markings. I have a Lipseys gun and it is on the bottom.

Yes...when Ruger switched the Warning rollmark to the bottom of the barrel, quite a few guns got out without being rollmarked at all. It seems that "Out of Sight....Out of Mind" applies here.
