The Maine tragedy proves a point: If only a few folks in the building had been armed, things could have gone differently. There's no rhyme or reason for such violence but there are responses that can reduce the effects.

Almost all mass shooters choose gun free zones. Like fish in a barrel. Prayers sent for all involved.
