I was talking to a young man the other day while we waited for our pizzas to be ready. He told me his current ambition is to find and restore a vintage Hotchkiss. He showed me photos of the car and looks as if it was made from maybe 1925 through about 1940 or so. French made auto and yes, same as the machine gun maker/designer.

Not bad looking at all! I have collected photos of many vintage autos as I tried to make models of them from wood. And was familiar with the Packards, Pirece Arrows, Mercedes, Bugattis, Rolls Royces, etc. but was completely ignorant of the Hotchkiss. Looking at some older modes on the internet, they were sort of luxury cars in the day.
