New LCRX-3 owner and I've got a trigger question.

My new LCRX-3 is making a squeeking noise as the trigger resets. It sounds like something in the mechanism needs oil.

Anyone else experience this or any suggestions on applying oil? I've only dry-fired this gun and have lubed the hammer pivot per the manual. I plan to get to the range this week.

Ideas??

I have a LCR, but not the "x" model. Mine doesn't squeak. I'd try oiling it before anything else. Can't hurt anything.

Ah don't worry about it you'll never hear the squeak over the sound of live ammo.

I snaked the oil tube of my RemOil spray bottle into various holes and sprayed away. It doesn't squeek anymore and I'll keep an eye (ear) on it and re-lube as required.

Once the snow and ice melts around here I'll be able to do something louder than the hundreds of dry-fire clicks I have done since I bought it! I don't think I've ever had a new gun this long without firing it.
