How about grips or small parts?
I've seen books be popular. Also various sporting equipment that is no longer used, or wasn't ever used. Grips are always welcome. I've seen a couple of low end scopes, not as popular. It's fairly easy to please people when it's free.

The best karma offerings have been memberships in NRA. I was very fortunate a year or two ago, and won a three year membership, and then passed along a couple of one year to anyone not currently in the NRA. On your birthday just offer a membership (one year) to a non NRA member.

Im a Karma guy, and have done a few in my time, from gun parts, guns for kids (22 Rifle), Grizzly Bear Claw, and yes, I have shipped 5# of "King Crab" from Alaska.
there's is more, the list is longer then that, Karma has been good to me....to give back is a way of showing, you just don't talk the talk, but walk the walk!.....or....but when it come's to guns?
