BLACKBIRD25 from PENNSYLVANIA, on GunAuction. Purchased a P90 on that site with 4 mags and holster fore $195.00. He wanted to send it direct to me as he did not have a license. I said SURE!!!!! BUT it will be pd with a POSTAL MONEYORDER and it will be sent to MY FFL. My FFL sent him his address etc WITHOUT the money order until he had all the sellers details. NO FURTHER CONTACT WITH BLACKBIRD25 since
OPPS, he either resold it to someone else or there was NEVER A P90 FOR THAT PRICE

YEP just got an e-mail back from GunAuction, HE WAS A SCAMMER, THERE NEVER WAS ANY GUN AS LISTED, HE IS BANNED FROM THEIR SITE AND TWO THER SITES!!!! When it looks too good to be true, IT IS, USUALLY

Just for fun, contact the BATF and tell them that he wanted to ship a gun directly to you. Might be a good way to eliminate a scammer.

good question... a BAFTE agent mails you a gun direct and you accept it... who broke the law?

Do you SERIOUSLY need to ask that question? ;)

Best regards, Pete

"good question... a BAFTE agent mails you a gun direct and you accept it... who broke the law?"

legitimate question IMHO. Why would the buyer be at fault if the seller didn't know the law?

By the law, the BATFE agent would have broken the law, doesn't matter if he is a ATF agent or not, they must follow the law just like us. The onus is on the SELLER to know the laws to do a legal transaction. That said, if the buyer KNOWS that doing it this way is not lawful, and does/says nothing, that could make him guilty as an accomplice to the crime.

I contacted gun auction people, they are very interested and will handle it from here, so they say, we will see.
