But I think all the pistols are really from Prescott. The rollmark has just changed is all. Older are more of a stamped in mark and newer are laser etched I believe.
Good to speak with you again.
New stainless slide with slide stop and barrel I bought a few months back on eBay. I finally got to test it and worked great. So off comes the blued slide and on goes the new stainless slide.
The blued slide rusts when I sweat, and not to mention Ruger messed it up when they re-blued it after I sent it back to them. They even replaced the blued parts such as the slide stop, the left and right safeties, and the front and rear sights that didn't need replacing - WITH USED PARTS, which is also part of the reason I wanted a new slide. I think you were part of that discussion on my thread where I thought, and still think, that my gun (P95 blued), came back with not my slide. Also the parts looked used and sights were rusted.
Anyway, here is the pics. I was just trying to get an idea of how old this slide was, since it is not serialized and get an idea of the last year they were made stating "SOUTHPORT CT"
My guess would be that upper didn't go with a railed model. Probably around 2004. But that is just a guess. I focus on the DC units and have no safe models in my stable to compare to.
It does have the newer style decock lever on the right side so that is why I guessed where I did.
Thanks Yes, I have the new P95 with decocker, and only a new version of the P95 slide will fit. Wow, didnt think it could be that old. I thought maybe 2009 ?
