Do you know anyone in Russia? After a little searching it appears to be from somewhere that uses the Crylic (sp) alphabet.

Oh no, that was Publisher's Clearing House, you missed you chance. I get a call almost everyday from a random number from a different city every time, same voice, some rewards redemption program recording.

reminded me of an antedote....
back pre cell phones, when on the road the econimical method of calling was a phone card, dial an 800, make some selections, dial or credit card like code, then the number desired. If at a motel, then there was that predial to get out.
Checking my monthly bill, there was a 20 minute call made to one of the slovia's! I mentioned to the Wife and she told me where she was attempting to call her sister from the motel and got the wrong number. She said they were so nice and wanted her to speak to several members of thier family.

Explain to me how i can get a voicemail on my cell phone without it ever ringing? Same telemarketer trying to loan my business money calls a couple times a month goes straight to voicemail never ringing or showing up in call log.
At my house if we recognize the number we answer. If unknown it goes to the answering machine. If an obvious BS caller I answer and immediately hit * . It gives the caller a sound like they have reached a FAX machine.

Well I keep getting calls with local area code and local cell number but it is telemarketers.....
Somehow they are able to do this so you think it is a local call.....really sucks....RR
