My new model Bearcat I just bought was a little rough, so I thought I would take it apart and slick it up some. I noticed the hammer looks like one of the notches might be broke off. I haven't shot over 200 rounds through it. Another problem I have with it is the cylinder pin sometimes is not holding the transfer bar back enough to clear the firing pin and it will tie it up. This is only the 2nd Bearcat I ever had, and the other one was an old model and I don't think I ever took it apart. So, is this normal looking to you?

Well, if anyone was wondering, I ended up sending this one back to Ruger. Got it back today, and they did replace the hammer. Probably a flipping MIM part to have broken like that. I have old model Rugers older than I am with the original parts and have never had one break. Such is progress.
