This video shows a Single Six in 22 Magnum that doesn't group well. The maker of the video says Ruger told him that the barrel has been shot out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbQISTqJ84w

I can't see that the barrel is 'shot out'. I've seen some ancient 22 rimfire rifle barrels that were 'shot out' (softer steel/shallower rifling + LOTS of shots) and they didn't look like that.
Too bad the guy wasted so much time on his 'advertising' but failed to borescope the replacement 'take off' barrel for comparison.

That just looks like a crappy rough bore to me. I will say I am no expert, but I've seen rifle bores that looked like that and they wouldn't shoot either and were no where near being shot out. I think Ruger just didn't want to own their own shoddy workmanship. Just my .02cents worth

No expert here but if it was shot out IMO it would be smoother!
All those rounds should smooth it right out! No?
