Barrel thread question:

Are the threads on flattop .357 and .44 barrels the same? I have a .44 barrel, wondering if it will work for a flattop .357 to .44 Special conversion. I believe it is a barrel off of a flattop .44 as it is 6.5".

not sure , do not have one here to compare or measure, the last we measured the 44 was: 24 TPI x .685" (11/16ths?? and the shank was .618".............
