International end cap question

Curious if anyone knows if the metal muzzle cap used on the RSI models has the same dimensions as the one used on the 10/22 international models? Specifically will that on the #1 fit the 10/22 stock and if so, does the barrel cradle area allow for a slightly larger profile barrel?

Someone out there must know. Ok, how bout this…anyone with a centerfire RSI that can provide the measurement of the inside of the end cap or the measurement of the width of the stock where it fits on?

The centerfire RSI cap has a slightly larger opening than the rimfire RSI cap.

Centerfire:

Upper edge to edge: 16 mm
Top to bottom of barrel channel: 13 mm

Rimfire:

Upper edge to edge: 14.5 mm
Top to bottom: 12 mm

The Centerfire cap has a more straight profile on the sides verses the more rounded profile of the rimfire.

I can tell you that the centerfire cap fits very loosely on the rimfire stock, but the screw hole lines up nicely.

My calipers are "missing", so I cannot give you any more helpful info. I apologize for that.

I'll wait for a reply before I reinstall the caps incase there's something else I can inaccurately measure for ya :wink:

That is perfect; just what I needed to know. Thank you very much for taking that time to do that. I can make up for the loose fit. Looks like I gotta order a #1 cap.

Got the new cap and it fit pretty snug so no fitting needed. Not 100% perfect but good enough for me needs. A few more finishing touches and it'll all be done. Just wanted t thank you again for taking the time to help.
