Interesting find at Walmart

FWIW, the 360 Buckhammer is basically a shortened version of the 125 year-old .35/.30-30 wildcat, with a new gee-whiz name from the marketing folks (and thicker brass, to run at 50K psi instead of 42K). Same approach as the 6.5 Creedmore, which is the century old .250 Savage Improved necked up a whopping 0.007". Nothing wrong with either cartridge, I guess, if you overlook the marketing baloney!

Also FWIW, Walmart still sells 350 Legend, which is one reason I put together a 350 Legend AR15 upper (please don't tell Walmart!! ;^)...
:)

Yup. If Iwant ammo or reloading components, I drive twenty miles to Sportsman's Warehouse in Bend. The local GS have a very limited supply, if any.

Our local situation is we got a new Aldi's store right across the street from Walmart so Walmart renovated their whole store complete with new parking lot. Aldi's is a great place to shop and the Walmart store is much nicer now. Win, win. But, no guns at Walmart.
Funny how competition makes everyone try harder

Just about very business in Tucson that deals in firearms accepts the CCW permit as having passed the background check except Walmart. It's either go through NCIS or no sale. I'd fimally broken down and decided to buy an AR15 and they pulled that crap on me. I looked at the male salesperson and anded in back the rifle and told him to stick it where the sun don't shine only in much less polite words. This was maybe 7 or 8 years ago. I don't eve go anywhere near that corner way in the farthest from the door. All I buy there these days are my grub and meds.
