Behind the monikers and avatars are real names. Sometimes those names result in initials that, well end up where we wish they didn't.
My initials are BM wish I could could flush em but they're mine.

I guess a lot depends on where one's mind is when a set of initials is seen. I am certain that someone somewhere could make something out of my "FM" but it never would bother me.

My son called me once, while in the Army, to complain about having to spell out 'NMN' (No Middle Name) on forms. His name consists of eight letters and 10 letters and I told him to imagine filling out forms with a middle name which would have consisted of even more letters...He saw the wisdom of my ways.

My wife's initials were ASH; then she married me and got S for a last name. She doesn't use her initials anl longer.

Mine are GVS which a boss asked who "Gus" was (I have poor handwriting). Later, I was Team Leader of an Interagency Team made up of several Federal agencies, State agencies, local government, and NGOs. We had a total of SEVEN Gregs, Greggs, Craigs for first or last names on the team. I switched to Gus and it stuck!

I ran a F modified for years in SCCA solo events, class was always referred to as F-Mod or FM. I used those as part of my screen name on some sites
for years.

I ran "HS" with an Isuzu Stylus. The black one, with my wife leaning on it, is hers; mine is the red one next to her

Her first and middle initials are KE
So she was KEGlover. Her dad thought it was funny.

My Great Uncle was JP Sauer. I inherited his shotgun. When I tell people I have JP Sauer's shotgun they all say Yeah Right.

And yes, he was German born, but was an American in later life.

My name is Michael. Last name starts with F. So MF for me. They used to page me over the intercoms at work when a machine broke down with “ MF’er- machine number 4.” That is until a bigwig was there doing a walk around when one of those calls went out over the floor. The next day, everyone was told to page me as “maintenance, not MF’er.”

I have a buddy who loves to look at license plates & create words to match the letters. Some are very creative,, while some are very risque !!! o_O o_O

In Federal service, we had FLA. But you had to spell out if you meant "Five letter acronym" or "Four letter acronym"!

That's a big ask. I have a lot of recurves and a couple longbows. I'm not sure I have those two Fred Bear Take Downs anymore. I do have a couple 50th Anniversary T/D's though.

I work construction so it’s a rough crowd. My coworker made fun of my initials being SH. So I retorted your initials are BS. For some reason he didn’t laugh at that.
