Yesterday at church, after Sunday School the director of the deaf department came to me. He told me that the deaf were having lunch after the morning service and I was invited.
All of the deaf at our church are black, a few can hear and make make a little talk, but generall converse via sign language.
I met with them after church, and through an interpreter had some talk with them. As a group they are a cheerful, happy and loving folks. I felt really hononred to have been invited to meet with them.
