I hate it when this happens

One of my favorites is my 44 mag Redhawk. It has the smoothest trigger of all my guns and was bought new.

I bought one of them "good for beginners, kids and poors" Gen 2 Americans last week.
Brought it home, mounted a 3-9×40, got it zeroed at 100 and proceeded to print a 1 3/4" group at 200 yards with modestly priced hunting ammo.

had a buddy (marine), who cleaned his 22 pistol even if only shooting a round or 2.... I think he took weapon maintenance a bit to seriously.... The reason for all that cleaning was to keep the guys busy, when the training schedule was light... ya gotta keep'um doin something....
I rarely clean, as I shoot mainly in the early spring/summer and late fall.... there is just to much brush up here I don't have the time to clear...
I check for rust and de-lint them.... that's about it...
