Well I've always heard if it sounds too good to be true it isn't. Well I found a forum member here that had brass for sale. 500 30 carbine brass for $25.00 on the classified adds. I sent him a message and asked if it was military or commercial brass. He said it was commercial so I jumped on it. Well there were about 30 commercial cases in the 500 the rest was military with mostly crimped in primers. plus a lot of it was deprimed and about 50 of the cases were run through some kind of die that was making it into a bottlenecked case. I have no idea what they were trying to make up. If I had of known they were military I would have passed on the deal but after buying them I tryed to make them good. I haven't fooled with military cases in years. Now I remember why. I put in about 8 hours last night working on the cases getting them to the last stage with cases sized primed and flared ready for powder and bullet. I told my wife if I ever got any more military cases I would trash them and not even attempt to load them.
