how to change lanyard riing on P89

I remember seeing a post on this procedure but I don't seem to find it now. I would like to swap the plain one in the P90 to the P89. Any one know where to find the post or info on the procedure?

Search for members jhearne and/or berettapistols ~ I think both of these gentlemen have posted a lot about the P-series pistols and may have your answers.

It's really just the plug for the main spring. Take off the grips and you'll see the pin that holds it in place. It's under spring tension, make sure to do it without the hammer cocked. Push the pin out and the plug slides out. You could hold it down against a work bench that may help.
