I dropped by to say hello and hope you are all doing fine. I turned 63 today and feel 93. have gotten a few new rugers a nice new model s/s 91/2" barreled 22 mag with a fluted cyl. was surprised it was not smooth like my convertibles are.
but for $225 out the door at the ffl I was happy camper. haven't shot it yet waiting on warmer weather. got a 10/22 s/s with the long barrel and nice wood stock like new has rings but need a silver scope for it. other then that everything is about the same. hope you are all doing good also. Take care i'll be around.

Had a good day at the range Saturday morning, and very good day at my church. Ate well also.

I have not bought any new guns since the Colt New Frontier I bought last August. But I have gotten a new pair of stag grips from Pat Grashorn, and a new holster from Mike Barranti. The new grips went on a .45 Ruger Blackhawk that had up until recently been fitted with the Dragoon grip frame. So I had to scrounge up an XR-3RED grip frame for the new grips. Been carrying the new holster and newly fitted gun of late.

I started making a new TV stand but cold weather has put that on hold as my glue needs a minimum of 57* to cure properly.

Hey Johnny! Glad to see you made it here after the other site shut down. Lori and I went to the Russell County Sherriff's range last Saturday and it was the first time I shot metal plates with anything. Used my CZ and had a ball. The RO was by me for a while and saw where I was making mistakes, I listened to him and did a whole lot better. I'll blame it on my surgeries, chemo and neuropathy. Lori even shot the new pistol and did really well.

The RO wants me to bring my .44 SRH next time and see if we can hit silhouette steel @ 100 yards with it.... Suits me!

I also retired even though I was unable to work from my accident 18 years ago ,but I get some money now. makes living a lot more fun. I got some projects on the bench and will have to do some pictures. those of you that know me know I love to post pictures ,not to show off but share in things some mite not have seen done before. I hope to be around a bit more since I'm feeling better lately. got to get back to my farm house range club and get it done and am building some new targets also. lost 4 shooting buddy's in 2 years and 1 just got over a aneurism operation that cost him 2 summers shooting now he has through cancer and the treatments make him to tired to shoot. so I got hardly no 1 to share my range with. trying to get some younger guys involved to help with up keep. GLAD TO SEE EVERYONE IS STILL DOING OK.
I will get some pictures up soon. got the ar bug and have been building them a few each month and selling them just for something to do. up to 34 builds so far. got 4 on the rack now and 12 of my own in 223 300bo 7.62x39 and 458 pistols and rifle sets with conceptive ser#. thtas not spelled rite is it. o well. I have this Samey Samey thing so rifles and pistols have to match . I'LL BE AROUND.TAKE CARE 63 TODAY TOO

Happy Birthday Johnny. I have missed your posts even tho I didn't realize it until now. I've also been missing from the forum a good bit due to work and the wife's health. I wish I lived closer, I need a good place to shoot and some good friends to shoot with. Most of mine have either gone on or live on the left coast. Some of the locals I know I don't trust around a gun they are so loony. Hope to be reading more of your posts and that'll mean we are both back more often.
