How hard to put conversion right?

Hey gang anyone know how hard it is to find the original parts to put a 3 screw 45 colt back to original after ruger did the change?any info would help.Mike&Ginny

The mechanical part is a piece of cake. As you said finding the old action parts can be a pain. Best bet is to put a WTB add in the classifieds. I've seen quite a few sets of action parts go through there.
Why people separate the converted guns from the original parts is one on me.

yep, takes about 5 minutes to put one back to original...
