How are you guys carryng the LC9?

I am considering an LC9 but was wondering how you guys are carrying it? I carry a LCP now. That think will go anywhere. Pick a spot. I was thinking the LC9 inside the waist band but don't know what the best holster would be. I saw somewhere there was a inside the waist band without a clip. I think it just stayed there by friction. Anyone use one of these and what are your thoughts?

With a shirt I use a Blachawk IWB (has a clip). Without shirt, running and doing outside chores, I use a Blackhawk pocket holster. No reason for the two Blackhawk holsters other than that is what my local Gander Mtn. had to fit the LC9.

I have an Uncle Mike's pocket holster...at 17 oz, the LC9 feels a little heavy in the pocket, certainly compared to the LCP, but for some reason seems better than the LCR .357 I had...which weighed the same. Because the LC9 is flat, it seems to carry better. I plan to eventually get a good IWB holster. I also carry the LC9 in the console, when I am in the car...in the Uncle Mike's holster.

I wish the Mika pocket holster I got for my LCR would fit my LC9. (I don't have the LCR anymore.) Oh well, I guess I'll put it on the classifieds here.

I carry my LC9 in my pocket in a cheap holster until I can get a crimson trace on it and an RKBA custom holster for it to ride in with the laser. No point in buying a good holster until I can get one that accommodates the laser.

Serious note: I have been carrying my LCP in a IWB Crossbreed holster that I really like.(minituck) I have ordered one for my new LC9, hasn't arrived yet. Check them out at Crossbreedholsters.com. Has a life time warranty. Will probably not carry the 9 in my pocket, but have a couple of different pocket holsters for the LCP. Enjoy your LC9 and carry it safely.

Where'd you get those? That holster is built in to the shorts? Or did you add that yourself? I have seen the tactical shorts online, but they don't say anything about a holster.

Under left arm in a Magills concealment T-shirt. Not a quick draw, but it's always there and very unobtrusive. Works great for office dress shirt use where a belt holster isn't possible. I would have an extra mag on the right side, but Impact Arms is two weeks+ late on delivery.

I carry mine in a Crossbreed Minituck IWB holster. It's really comfortable and hardly prints even when I'm wearing a pocket tshirt.

I carry mine in an IWB thats similar to the Crossbreed but has a little more horsehide and delivers for 65 bucks. Its a one man shop but he ships quickly. Take a look, for the money its hard to beat.

Crossbreed MiniTuck, couldn't be happier.

I tried a Remora based on all the hype I've read about them, and it moves and shifts after only about 5 minutes of walking around. A complete waste of money.

I bought the "Pro Carry Deep Comfort" IWB from The Holster Store and I don't advise it. Long wait, not as pictured, prints more than expected, needs modification to rest in a sitting position. I plan to cut some of the material back so that the leather ends closer to the barrel. I will still use the holster given the money I blew on it, but it will likely require an un-tucked button- up shirt to fully conceal. I actually went to the gunshow in Houston this week and bought the smaller LCP just so I could be comfortable and armed at all times. I didn't like pocket carrying the LC9 due to the added weight and using the grip extension it catches up in my pockets even in cargos. I would certainly advise IWB but a better holster as well.

I use the same style of holster for my LC9 as I do for my LCP and SR9C and that the Nemesis Pocket holster from I believe Desantis, though I'm a big guy. each gun fits snug in each holster and is an easy draw if need be, and they're pretty cheap at Cabelas
